BYOD significa Bring Your Own Divices y en este día trabajamos con nuestra maestra de lengua sobre las similitudes y las diferencias entre las dos versiones de la historia “Caperucita Roja”, una versión es la de charles Perault y la otra es la de los hermanos Grimm.
During Literature class we read the story “Games at Twilight” by Anita Desai. Then were given the assignment to write a summary, and analyse part of the story.
The story takes place in a house in India, where there were kids asking their mother to let them go play outside. But their mother,Mira, didn’t want them to go outside and play because it was too hot. Finally she allowed the kids to go outside and play outdoors. The kids decided to play hide-seek and the older one, Raghu, was “it”. When he started to count Ravi, one of the youngest of all. He thought about a good place to hide so he went and hide in the garage, suddenly he heard Ravi was coming for him, so he quicly crawled and went to hide in the shed. He stayed hidden there for hours, when he finally came out he realized that no one was looking for him. The other kids had been playing another game the whole time h was hiding in the shed and no one had realized that he was still hiding, it was as if for all the time he stayed hidden the didn’t exist.
During Laguage class we were given the assignment to describe our favorite holiday photo, I choose a picture rom this summer, in which I’m with Vicky at the beach.
In this picture I’m in Miramar. I went on holidays with my family and my friend Vicky. We were on the beach all day sunbathing and we asked our sister to take a picture of us, so we thought raising our legs, trying to copy a picture we had seen. It was hard because we couldn’t find the right pose and my sister had to take fifteen photos until we had one we liked.
After we took the photo, we dug a hole and buried my sister up to the neck and then when she wanted to come out she couldn’t! So we had to un-bury her. She had to get in the ocean to take the sand off her. It was a very fun day. I had a lot of fun with Vicky in Miramar. I really like this picture and now that I look back at the time, I feel sad I’ve already started school.
During History class we were given QR codes, which had a source about a topic we had seen last year, I had a source about The League of Nations” and Vicky, Felix, Juan and Gaston also had sources about “The League of Nations””, we had to analyse each source. Here is the analysis.

On our first Language class we meet Daniela Barra who will be teaching us this year, and she had us play a game called “Crossword Connection” in which we had to make a crossword using our names and then we had to say something abut ourselves connected to what the one beofre us had said. This way we learned about all of us.
